Operation Christmas Child

Share the joy of Christmas and the story of Jesus with children around the world by participating in Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse.

Pick up a shoebox following worship on Sunday, October 21.

Choose whether your shoebox will be for a girl or a boy and in which age category:

  • 2-4 years
  • 5-9 years
  • 10-14 years

Label your box.

Fill the shoebox with toys, school supplies, non-liquid hygiene items, accessories, and a personal note. Look for gift suggestions by gender and age or read suggestions from missionaries who have seen firsthand how your gifts impact children.

Do NOT include:

  • Used or damaged items
  • War-related items (toy guns/knives/military figures)
  • Chocolate, candy, food, or gum
  • Fruit rolls or other fruit snacks
  • Drink mixes (powdered or liquid)
  • Seeds
  • Liquids or lotions
  • Toothpaste
  • Medications or vitamins
  • Breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers
  • Aerosol cans

See the Frequently Asked Questions, if you have would like more information about packing, labeling, what can be included, and more.

Return the filled shoebox to the church office by Sunday, November 4. To cover shipping costs, please enclose a check for $9/box (payable to “Samaritan’s Purse”) OR make a payment online at samaritanspurse.org.
