Run/Walk/Cheer 5K

Sunday, October 8

This competitive 5K is open to runners and walkers of all ages, with a shorter, 1 mile family course for the youngest participants. Childcare is available for children (infants through age four) of those participating in the race at no charge. The course begins and ends on the campus of Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church. 


  • 8:00 am - Check-in opens. Continental breakfast available.
  • 9:30 am - Worship service in Center Court
  • 10:30 am -  Race start
  • 11:30 am - Picnic lunch on the lawn

Race with a Purpose

Each year money raised through sponsorship, registration fees, and donations for Run/Walk/Cheer 5K benefits charitable organizations. This year, net proceeds from Run/Walk/Cheer 5K will be donated to Community in Crisis and PAUSE Ministries to aid in the fight against the opioid crisis and addiction. Learn more about these organizations below. 


Following the race, let’s celebrate with a picnic on the lawn. (In the case of inclement weather, food will be moved indoors to Center Court.)

Registration & Fees

Pre-register by Oct. 4 (includes a t-shirt)

$25/person age 13 and up

$10/child age 12 and under

Sign up and pay using the Run/Walk/Cheer Registration Form.

Day-of registration (t-shirt available while supplies last)

$30/person age 13 and up

$15/child age 12 and under

All participants must complete a registration form and waiver. Waivers must be completed on race day; Please arrive early to sign a waiver and pick up your timing device and bib. Pre-registrant check-in and day-of registration will take place from 8-10 am on Sunday, October 8.

This event is rain or shine. No refunds available.

    Serving the Somerset Hills, Community in Crisis works to create a community united in the fight against the heroin/opioid crisis, reducing the stigmas of addiction and preventing overdose death.
