Beneficiaries

Net proceeds from the 2016 Run/Walk/Cheer 5K will support the following:

  • Hearts for honduras School

Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church established Hearts for Honduras, a K-6th school, in 1999 to benefit the boys and girls of low economic resources in La Entrada, Honduras. Hearts for Honduras School offers a safe haven, family support, and a well-rounded education founded on the principles in the word of God, preparing them for higher education and to be responsible members of the community and nation. • Interfaith hospitality network (IHN)

The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Somerset County is part of a national network serving homeless families with children in a three-phase approach to combat homelessness. Religious congregations and volunteers are the backbone of the agency, providing shelter, meals, financial support, and advocacy. Throughout the process, families receive expert case management and support services from a dedicated staff of social workers and mental health counselors. Learn more at www.ihnsc.org

  • local fire/ems

The local fire and first aid squad provide volunteer fire and rescue service and emergency medical services to residents, neighbors, businesses and visitors to our area around the clock. They rely on donations from companies and residents to fund their operations.
