LCPC Transition Update: Into the Future

Liberty Corner Presbyterian continues the work of discernment in this time of transition. Here are some important updates about the process:

  • Under the guidance of The Center, the Church Health Survey, interviews, and analysis have been completed.
  • On Sunday, September 23, The Center presented the results of the Church Health Survey, interviews, and analysis at two Town Hall meetings following worship. This report is an important input to setting three-year goals for the church and determining the skills and experience we are looking for in our next senior pastor. Email the church office for a summary of the results and presentation. In his message “Into the Future,” Pastor Peter shared important perspective about challenges beyond our ability to overcome. Listen here.
  • Session approved the Catalyst Team on September 10. The Catalyst Team includes Steve Allen, Elizabeth Barickman, Kevin Liguori, Judi Logan, Katherine Ma, Maria Novak, Rich Power, Carolyn Stewart, Corey Strickland, and Brian Wallace. Catalyst Team has started on the discernment of priorities, the first step in the three-year plan.

Expect regular communication and opportunities for you to provide feedback as we go forward. If you have concerns or questions, please feel free to contact the Session or Transition Team. Learn more about the search process and communication about the transition.
