In for Prayer

When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven. (Nehemiah 1:4)

Nehemiah sought the Lord! The walls of Jerusalem were down and his people were helpless. Nehemiah was broken, so he “mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.”

God is calling us to a similar response. As we consider the needs of a broken world and as we give our attention to rebuilding our church, it is critical that we seek the Rebuilder.

The sanctuary will be open on Tuesday evenings in July from 7 - 8:30 pm for reflection and prayer. Choose to fast and come to be quiet. You design your own fasting restrictions and come for as long as you are able. Bring your ministry team, your family, or just come alone. We will be quiet before the Lord. Soft music will be playing, but there will be no preaching.
