Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church is opening our doors to fight hunger on February 29. We need your help! We are partnering with Rise Against Hunger to pack over 50,000 nutritious meals that will be distributed worldwide. Bring the family and invite your friends to this intergenerational, hands-on event.

About the Meal Packing Event
The meal packing event is a hands-on way for volunteers age four and over to make an impact. A Rise Against Hunger leader will guide and encourage us through the process. Volunteers will sanitize hands and wear hair nets and gloves. While listening to upbeat music, volunteers will be arranged at different stations to measure and add meal ingredients to bags, weigh meals, seal the bags, run meals between stations, count meals, and pack boxes.

Volunteer for a time slot that works for you:
- February 28 | 3-5 pm: Help set up the room.
- February 29 | 9-11 am: Help pack meals.
- February 29 | 11 am – 12:30 pm: Help clean up the room.
This event is open to volunteers age four and older. Invite your friends, family, coworkers to join you in fighting hunger! Students, this event is eligible for community service hours.
Support our fundraising goal of $16,536.96 to cover the cost of the meals. While you are not required to pay to participate in the packing event, we encourage you to donate to cover the cost of the meals. Choose an amount that best fits your budget. Get creative – encourage your friends to give, share on social media, make a donation as a gift for a loved one.
Childcare will be available for children under 4. Please register for childcare here, so we can best serve you.
