This small group has been meeting continuously since 1992. Each Thursday night, we gather for singing, lessons, and prayer. New members are welcome.
Our study is hybrid—in person at the Grubb residence and via Zoom—each Thursday at 7:30 pm for 90 minutes. Homework is not required, but singing is strongly encouraged.
After forty years in the wilderness, the time for God's promises to be fulfilled has finally arrived. However, victory had to be claimed through trust and obedience. By God's grace, redemption was made accessible, but it was up to Israel to access it. The Book of Joshua offers spiritual keys for the warfare that comes with leaving what's behind and moving forward into our blood-bought redemption. Whether we are to arm ourselves with testimony or remain obedient during uncertainty, we must ultimately lean on God for the power to overcome. There is no end to how much darkness this world will wield against our walk with Christ. Nevertheless, we must know that God has already won the war on our behalf. In the same manner that Joshua marched around the walls of Jericho and faced the threats of kinds, we, too, must be strong and courageous in the face of our own challenges.
