Liberty Corner Kids

Sunday School meets most Sundays throughout the school year. We begin in worship together with families at 10:30 am and then children are invited to age-based classrooms for lessons, games, and activities.

Online resources with lesson plans, activities, and videos are also available for parents of preschoolers to teach lessons at home.

We ask that parents register each school year, even if you have registered previously, so we maintain up-to-date information. 

During the summer, we offer two Sunday School classrooms: age 3 to kindergarten and grades 1st-5th.  Childcare will be available for infants through 35 months. We begin in worship together with families at 10:30 am and then children are invited to age-based classrooms for lessons, games, and activities following the blessing.

Summer Sunday school runs from June 14 through August 30, with Family Worship on July 26 so that all ages can participate in the VBS Celebration and Picnic.

Online resources with lesson plans, activities, and videos are also available for parents of preschoolers to teach lessons at home.

We see value in all generations worshipping together. To that end, we encourage families to worship together on special Sundays throughout the year when Sunday school takes a break.

Of course, children are always welcome in worship! If you would prefer, childcare is available for infants through 35 months during Contemporary Worship.

A Romper Room is also available during both services if you need to soothe a child or offer extra wiggle room.

Give Love Away community service projects offer children and youth (grades 3-12) opportunities to give back. Past projects include sewing pressure pillows for amputee soldiers, baking cookies for college students, writing notes of encouragement for senior citizens, cooking meals, cleaning up litter and more.

Joyful Noise is a perfect way for parents, grandparents, or caregivers and their young children (infants - K) to experience music together. Joyful Noise meets in Center Court for music and movement, to sing, play instruments, hear a Bible story, and pray together. Throughout the year, we have special guests and themes.

Bible Adventure encourages 3rd-5th grade students to explore and get to know the Bible in a series of classes. Class is held in September. If you are interested in an upcoming Bible Adventure series, please contact Kelly Tancredi in the church office. 

Family Ministries offers a baptism class for parents who are interested in learning more about the Sacrament and/or considering baptism for their child/ren. Contact Kelly Tancredi if you would like information about the next class. 

Each spring, Liberty Corner Kids offers a special series on the Sacrament of Communion for children in 2nd-5th grade, who have not previously participated. Classes meet for two consecutive Sundays at 10:30 am.  The following Sunday, students and their families celebrate the Sacrament of Communion together during 10:30 am worship. Everyone is invited to a special reception following worship to celebrate this milestone.  

First and second graders learn about prayer at a special Prayer Party during Sunday school in the spring. This meaningful milestone teaches children what prayer is, how to pray, and reminds them that God hears their prayers and cares for them.

Liberty Corner Kids teaches children the importance of stewardship and financial responsibility by sponsoring six students from the Hearts For Honduras School through a weekly offering. Sponsorship provides books, uniforms, and supplies; a nutritious daily meal; vitamins; annual health and dental checkups and treatment; and loving teachers and staff.
