Becoming and Beholding

The journey of becoming like Christ to beholding the beauty of God and the beauty of our children

Becoming and Beholding

November 2 | 10:30 am

Parents are invited to attend Becoming and Beholding on Sunday, November 2 at 10:30 am in the Havrilla Room. Taught by Jennifer Hong, the course will cover:
  • The importance of spiritual formation for parents.
Emotional health and spiritual health are often discussed these days, but what is the difference between these two and why are they so important for parenting?

  • Generational trauma.
Whether you approach this hot topic from a spiritual lens or a more practical lens, we can all agree that we often repeat patterns we have experienced. What have you identified for yourself and how can we break some of these patterns for the sake of our children?

  • Importance of discipling our children!
Identify where you are at currently and identify a few small steps take from there. This practical time will look at some hands on activities you can do to start incorporating spiritual formation and discipleship for your children.
There is no cost to attend, but please use the link below to register.
