Surviving the Holidays

Tuesday, October 21

Facing the holidays after a separation or divorce can be difficult. The sights and sounds of the holidays can bring unexpected emotions like anxiety, bitterness, anger, or sadness. You are not alone. Even though you may have some tough emotional times,  you can enjoy the holidays again.

We're here to help with a special event called Surviving the Holidays.

DivorceCare Surviving the Holidays is an annual two-hour program at Liberty Corner Church with three goals:
  1. help those experiencing separation or divorce to more successfully navigate the holiday season with practical coping strategies,
  2. provide an opportunity to build community in a safe space with others who have also experienced separation or divorce, and
  3. introduce participants to the facilitators and format for the 13-week Spring 2026 DC@LCPC Program.

This free event is on Tuesday, October 21 from 7-9 pm in the Amos Room in the building next to the Sanctuary (the entrance is on Church Street so walk to front of building from side parking lot). A DivorceCare Holiday Survival Guide will be provided at no cost. Afterward, there's an optional opportunity to join the facilitators to socialize at a local restaurant.
